If you think a full marathon is hardcore then you haven’t heard about ROGIN-E LAST MAN RUNNING 2 on March 24, 2012 (Saturday) at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
Rogin-E staged the Last Man Running event last year, wherein Alquin Bolivar ran 83 kilometers and Olive Dimaano finished 63.5km in 7 non-stop hours. This year’s event promises to be even more challenging. Aside from being able to run non-stop for 7 hours, participants must be able to keep up with designated pacers, otherwise they are eliminated. Talk about hardcore. All the chickzillas out there should join this!

Walk-in participants are also welcome to register on the day of the event, provided they register at least one hour before gun start of their chosen race category.
LMR – P1,200
5+2k Race – P600
10+4k Race – P800
It’s a super hardcore event, but the blood, sweat, and tears of the winners shall not be in vain. There’s a big prize at stake. The Last Man Running will be awarded a trip to Beijing, China and entry to the Great Wall Marathon worth P150,000 (a dream marathon of mine…ahem). The Last Woman Running will receive a cash award of P20,000 (a tad bit unfair for the fierce female athletes out there…but if they outlast the men, they are eligible to win the Great Wall Marathon entry…so go get ’em girls!).
For non-winners, you can console yourself by grabbing breakfast at Mercato Centrale (comes free with your reg fee)!
You can find out more here.
Rogin-E is a multivitamin with a unique combination of Deanol for mental potency, Royal Jelly for youthful vitality and Korean Panax Ginseng for non-stop running endurance.
On a side note, the Rogin-E LMR Bloggers Event yesterday at TGI Friday’s was my first bloggers event. It was fun! Hung out with Jeff Lo of PinoyFitness.com and saw my friend Noelle De Guzman (Kikayrunner.com).
They had games for the bloggers too. The men had to do planks (the ones used as core workouts….not this one). The one who held on the longest won.
See you on the road!
